Force Reflection: What Item can you not live without?
The Companion Cube from the game Portal is mostly know for how much love it receives by Doug Rattmann, Chell, and even the players, without it even saying a single word, for it is only a cube. The reason is because you carry the cube with you throughout one portion of the game, and it helps you complete a series of scientific "Cube-to-Button" based tests that GLaDOS gives you. At the end of those tests, GLaDOS forces you to throw the Companion Cube into an incinerator. You are forced to kill your only friend in the game for a sarcastic AI's amusement.
